Ready to take the Next Step? Here’s how…
Step One: Connect
We’re here to walk with you! Start by filling out the Next Steps Form, and we’ll connect you with someone who can get to know your calling and help you map out your journey to serving in an Alliance Church.
Step Two: Learn
Whether you’re earning a degree, sharpening your ministry skills, or working toward accreditation, licensing, or ordination, we’ve got plenty of training options! To get accredited or licensed, you’ll need 30 credit hours of Bible, Ministry, and Theology courses. You can complete these at an accredited university or through programs like ACLD or Church Residency. Visit our Leadership Training Opportunities page to explore the best training path for you! Our team is happy to help guide you along the way.
Step Three: Grow
Growth never stops! We’ll work with you, your pastor, and your district to create a development plan that fits your journey. If you’re aiming for a licensed position in a U.S. church, accreditation is a key step. This process includes an application that digs into what it means to be an Alliance leader, plus our Core Characteristics and Statement of Faith. Our goal? To help you become Kingdom-Minded, Biblically-Grounded, Spirit-Dependent, Competently Skilled, Self-Aware, and Self-Disciplined.
Step Four: Explore
Once you’re accredited, it’s time to build deeper connections! Get to know your local district office, chat with district staff, attend conferences, and connect with mentors. This is your chance to explore ministry roles and find the perfect fit for your calling.
