Envision: Site Host in Atlanta
Envision Atlanta (EA) invites you to join us in identifying and developing missional leaders in the dynamic and unique urban context of Clarkston, GA, the most diverse square mile in the United States. We are looking for a site host (couple or single) to provide ministry as a part of our team in a role that oversees hosting and hospitality for our community team and short-term participants. The site host will also take the lead in creating welcoming and hospitable environments throughout our site where every person matters and has repeated opportunities to experience, hear, see, and respond to the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Position Type

- Discipleship, evangelism, hospitality, leadership development, refugee or immigrant ministry

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage short-term participants from inquiry to post-experience follow-up
- Prioritize hospitality to short-term participants
- Oversee the care and cleanliness of the Envision site
- Work with site team and interns in creating a welcoming environment
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of Alliance Polity course
- Completion of the World Perspectives Mission Course (minimum of certificate level) or equivalent
- Experience managing and leading people
- Positive team player
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete work tasks
- Mentoring or discipleship experience
Biblical Characteristics Desired:
- Kingdom-minded
- Biblically grounded
- Spirit-dependent
- Competently skilled
- Self-aware
- Self-disciplined
Timeline for Deployment:
Summer/Fall 2024. All appointees are required to attend a cross-cultural and language acquisition program and pre-field course/experience prior to deploying.
Health Consideration:
Atlanta has a hot climate.
Expectations for Spouse:
Spousal roles vary based on the spouse’s gifts, training, and abilities as well as the needs of the team. Both spouses are expected to be meaningfully involved in meeting ministry objectives depending on the nature of family roles, children, etc.
Children’s Educational Plan and Options:
Educational options are available in the Clarkston and the metro Atlanta area.
Compensation Package
The successful applicant(s) will receive a full compensation package with the expectation that, once appointed, efforts will be made to raise a portion of support costs through the applicant’s network of friends, family, local church, or other resources. Information on support costs will be made available upon application. Training and/or coaching in fundraising is available.

Important Clarification
Applicant(s) should be aware that serving in the international world often requires a higher degree of grace and flexibility. For example, overseas teams can be suddenly and unexpectedly impacted by illness, government decisions, financial realities, team changes, or other factors beyond the team’s control. The challenge for applicants is that these factors can sometimes necessitate the sudden redefining of a position, which may take place before, during, or after the application/interview process has begun or is completed.
