Hi Alliance family,

I was prompted by the Spirit to speak from the heart as an invitation to pause and reflect on what it looks like to carry the compassion of Jesus on a current issue facing our nation. As conversations and tensions around immigration and refugees continue to stir fear, uncertainty, and division, I want to call our Alliance family to come before the Lord and to pray for refugees and immigrants—including many in Alliance churches who are anxious about what the future holds—for our public officials, and for our own hearts to be shaped by Christ’s love.
