The Christian and Missionary Alliance Announces New Vice Presidents
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Columbus, Ohio —The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA or The Alliance) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kelvin Walker as the vice president for Church Ministries and Paul J. Crosby as the vice president for Development.
After 30 years of serving the C&MA as a local church pastor in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New York, as well as in college and seminary ministry in Nyack, NY, Kelvin currently serves as the district superintendent of the Metropolitan District. Kelvin served on the Board of Directors from 2013–2023, and the latter four of those 10 years were served as the corporate vice president. After a two-year hiatus, he was recently elected to serve a new four-year term on the Board.
Formerly, Kelvin served as a member-at-large of the C&MA President’s Cabinet. He also previously served three terms as the president of the Association of African American Pastors of the C&MA. Kelvin has ministered both nationally and internationally during his nearly 35 years of ministry with the C&MA.
He holds a bachelor’s in sacred music, a master’s of professional studies in church development, and a doctor of ministry in Christian leadership in the global context. Nearly 36 years ago, Kelvin married his college sweetheart, Doni. Together, they have six adult children—three of whom are married—and two beautiful granddaughters.
Paul brings with him almost two decades of experience in Christian ministry and the nonprofit industry, domestically and internationally. With a history in strategic development, organizational growth, and cross-cultural leadership, Paul has partnered with individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses to create and expand their global impact across more than 80 countries. He has most recently been leading the funding engagement efforts for The Alliance.
Paul has faithfully ministered through preaching, teaching, coaching, and caring for the spiritual well-being of leaders and colleagues. He builds healthy organizational culture and casts compelling vision for the teams he serves. He has served for nearly 10 years at the National Office on the Development team.
Paul has his bachelor’s in cross-cultural studies from Toccoa Falls College and his master’s in global leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. In 2021, Paul married his beloved wife, Sarah, and they are the proud parents of identical twin sons.
