Train and Equip Under-Resourced Farmers

Project Name: CAMA – Senegal Agricultural Project

challenge goal of $17,274 is met

Location: Senegal

Many Senegalese farmers rely on donkey-pulled carts and hand tools to plant, tend, and harvest their crops. Their land is overworked, depleted of nutrients, and barely produces enough food for these farmers to feed their families. Worst of all, though, most of them do not know they can turn to Jesus for guidance, compassion, and provision.

Your gift to this project will train and equip families to adopt farming techniques that make their exhausting labor more fruitful. A practical way of demonstrating God’s generosity and selfless love, agricultural training becomes an access point for gospel-centered conversations and discipleship in one of the world’s remaining hard places.

Unlike simply providing seeds or increasing field surface area, this project teaches struggling and under-resourced farmers how to improve the quality and productivity of their soil. In this way, they become better stewards of God’s creation.
