2025 Council presented several opportunities for celebration, among them the commissioning of 49 new workers you are sending into the world’s unplowed fields where seeds of the gospel have yet to be sown or where people have turned their hearts from Jesus. Hallelujah!

Thanks to the generosity of Alliance people, these new workers will be sent without delay to carry the gospel message of hope to people throughout the world who are suffering, marginalized, and displaced and to advance our shared All of Jesus for All the World vision.

One of these unplowed fields is in the former Soviet East Germany, often called “the most godless place on Earth.” Ben and Sarah Carey and Kenny and Karissa Young are two international worker couples who are already working in this dark place and have put out the call for more hands to help with the labor of bringing the gospel message to this large population of people who are desperate for hope.

“When we meet a 35-year-old woman who says, ‘I have never had a Bible in my hand before,’ that is a reminder to us—there is no access,” says Sarah.

“We truly believe that although northeast Germany has a really long, difficult history of God being removed from culture, we’re seeing a change,” adds Karissa. “We’re seeing what used to be a dry desert turning into that harvest field, and we know that in order for that fruit to be harvested, we need more workers. We believe that there are people here who are ready to say yes to Jesus—who for generations have not had the opportunity to hear about Him, but as they hear are going to say yes.”

Because of you, the 49 new Alliance workers are heading to the field to join the work taking place in 17 countries. Over half of these workers are going to closed-access locations. Other locations include Germany, Portugal, the Balkans, Spain, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and U.S.-based Envision sites (Cleveland, Twin Cities, Miami, and Atlanta).

None of these new workers are sent without you. Because of your faithful prayers, encouragement, and generosity, new workers will continue to be sent to unreached peoples in the world’s unplowed fields so they will know that they are seen, accepted, and loved by Jesus.
