Rosa* and her husband, Miguel,* will never forget the night their home was invaded by gang members. Like others in their church community in central Mexico, they know the same thing could happen during a Sunday worship service if they don’t have a secure meeting space. They’ve heard stories about gangs running other churches out of the properties they rent.
By driving this project to completion, you will establish a secure, long-term gathering place for worship in central Mexico. With classrooms, offices, and a sanctuary for 500 congregants, the new church will also serve as a base of operations for a growing movement of churches and a launchpad for gospel advance among marginalized communities, including some of the region’s remaining unreached peoples.
