Tub and Gao-Jai Yang’s grandparents were led to Jesus through Alliance missionaries in Laos. Their families were forced to flee to the United States during the Vietnam War. Tub and Gao-Jai met in college and married before they graduated. Not long after, they went on a short-term missions trip to Thailand, where their hearts were broken by what they saw and experienced working with children in Chiang Mai. This solidified their commitment to go and serve anywhere if God would pave the way. And He did!
At Alliance Council in Nashville this past June, Tub and Gao-Jai were commissioned as new Alliance international workers and are preparing to return to serve in Thailand later this year. They couldn’t have done it without a strong Alliance sending church behind them and the support of generous Alliance partners like you. Of their upcoming arrival in Thailand, field director Janice Quinlan notes,
“The gospel first came to their grandparents through Alliance missionaries in Laos. Now we’re seeing a full sweep of the gospel in that the Yangs are returning to this part of the world where their ancestors first heard the gospel message.”
Your generous giving has made this “full sweep” of the gospel possible—THANK YOU!
