Step One: Connect
The Alliance Missions team is here to walk with you every step of the way. What’s your first step? Fill out this Next Steps Form. We will reach out to learn more about you, your story, and your calling. We will also share more about how to serve with the Alliance and what we are looking for in future workers.
Step Two: Develop
We will work collaboratively with you, your pastor, and your district to create a personalized development plan tailored specifically to you. Depending on your unique situation, your development plan may include areas such as spiritual formation, ongoing confirmation of your calling, holistic health and self-awareness, education, ministry training, and more. This development phase varies by person, and will target any needed areas to help you meet minimum qualifications to serve as an IW with The Alliance. After you fill out the Next Steps Form, we will meet with you to begin to formulate this plan.

Step Three: Learn
Part of your development plan may include additional education or experience. Whether you’re pursuing a degree, enhancing your ministry skills, seeking accreditation, consecration, or ordination, or working in cross-cultural settings, the Alliance family offers abundant opportunities for training, education and ministry involvement and leadership. Explore this link to find the perfect setting and location for you. Our Alliance team is here to provide more details and help you discern the best options for your journey.
Step Four: Explore
Alliance Missions international workers carry out the work through four specialized structures: aXcess (church planting), CAMA Services (relief & development), Envision (short-term missions and leadership development), and marketplace ministries (business as mission). Each have a unique purpose, but each share a common vision of seeing gospel access for and from all people. Check out these resources to learn more about Alliance Missions & about the roles currently available around the world.
Step Five: Apply
God has invited the Alliance to specific work in specific locations, and invite you to apply to serve as an international worker. Our current roles are listed as “Ministry Opportunity Descriptions” (MODs) on this page. MODs give information about different ways and places around the world you can serve. Each MOD has an “apply now” link – and it will take you directly to your preliminary application. You only need to complete this form once. And then…we journey with you towards whatever it is God has for you next.
