Update on the Ukraine-Russia Conflict Response

How CAMA and their local partners are working to help those in need

Throughout April, CAMA Services‘ local partners have been working in and around Kyiv to distribute food, water, medicine, Christian literature, and other necessities. As Russian forces have left neighboring cities, their partners have been making trips to hand out food packages and to come alongside those in need. This has led to meeting the transportation needs of more internally displaced people (IDPs) and providing some financial support to over 20 displaced families.

Beyond Kyiv and its surrounding areas, CAMA has partnered with the International Mental Health Consultants, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that’s been training counselors in Ukraine, to provide both short- and long-term mental health services to Ukrainians currently experiencing trauma. Through this partnership, Ukrainian counselors are now supporting fellow Ukrainians who have been evacuated from places such as Bucha, Kharkiv, and Mariupol.

One of CAMA’s local partners said, “Our vehicles are constantly working here—bringing and taking people in and out, buying food, bringing water, [and] bringing humanitarian products.”

Once again, we want to thank you for your compassion for the people of Ukraine. Through your support, Ukrainians have had others to lean on physically, mentally, and spiritually as they navigate this ongoing conflict. Would you please continue to pray with us for their wellbeing, safety, and peace?
