Eastern Germany, once dominated by the Soviet Union, has been called “the most godless place on earth.” Atheism is widespread. Christianity is seen as a historic relic. Most locals will likely never meet a person whose life has been transformed by Jesus.
“There was such a negative view of the church through the decades,” says Ben, an Alliance worker serving in the region. “The church is weak, the church is cold, the church is pointless.”
By giving to this project, you will fuel a new church plant in Rostock, Germany. Because of you, lost, hurting, and spiritually hungry people will taste the goodness of God through weekly Sunday services, Bible studies, children’s outreach events, and other gospel-advancing activities.
