Church of Emmanuel, located south of Boston in Foxboro, Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Pastor who can shepherd the spiritual health of the congregation while leading toward greater effectiveness in reaching and serving Foxboro and the greater Boston to Providence corridor with the love of Jesus. We are seeking a dynamic, engaging preacher and teacher who is able to communicate spiritual truths with ease to both the unchurched and committed Christians; a visionary and strategic leader who can develop and empower leaders; one who is committed to multiplication, and can provide spiritual leadership and care for the congregation. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Bible, Theology, Pastoral Ministry or other ministry-related field. An MDiv is strongly preferred; an advanced degree in a ministry discipline is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior or Teaching Pastor, or equivalent leadership or teaching experience in a growing church. Candidates already licensed with the C&MA are preferred; but all candidates must be willing and able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA. Church of Emmanuel is a multi-staff church with a regional draw of about 500, located in Foxboro, MA. A suburban community of about 20,000, Foxboro is located just 20 miles south of Boston. Its proximity to major highways and commuter rail service, along with its strong school system makes it a popular choice for commuting families.
