Youth & Children’s Minister: The Youth & Children's Minister is responsible to evangelize and disciple the children and youth in the community of Bozeman, and specifically those who attend Alliance Fellowship. This Minister, like the Pastor, is not responsible for doing all the work of ministry in the church, but to oversee the ministries and encourage and equip the body to serve one another. The Youth & Children’s Minister is responsible to assist the Senior Pastor with ministerial and support needs as they arise. The Youth & Children’s Minister may be assigned specific tasks to perform or areas of ministry to administrate, such as, in this case, Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and other areas assigned. About us: Alliance Fellowship is part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. We are a growing church in one of the most beautiful places in America, Bozeman, Montana. A large portion of our church is young families with approximately 40% of the congregation being youth and children. As God has blessed us with many youth and children to pour into, we are seeking a gifted person to lead that charge. Our Website: C&MA Website: Responsibilities: Youth Ministry - • Lead the church’s efforts to minister to youth 6th through 12th grade. • Reach out to youth in the community and engage them with the gospel. 
 • Recruit and build teams of volunteer leaders to serve the youth ministry. • In consultation with church leadership, develop an annual budget for the youth ministry and operate within the budget. 

 • Teach the Bible to the youth with conviction, compassion, and care. 
 • Lead efforts to minister to the parenting needs of the church body. 
 • Establish a long-term vision for how the church engages youth. 
 • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the youth ministry. 

 • Work with other church leaders to find ministry opportunities for youth in the broader church family. Children’s Ministry - • Enthusiastically committed to drawing children to Jesus. • Oversee all programming for children throughout the church; including weekly Sunday school, midweek activities, and all special events. • Recruit and build teams of volunteer leaders to serve the children’s ministries. 
 • Establish and maintain a security system that protects children in our church’s care. 
 • Facilitate strong relational connections between children and with the church at large. • In consultation with church leadership, define a vision for the children’s ministry that contributes to the overall vision. Develop a plan to achieve that vision. 
 • Discover, develop, and deploy a diverse team of children’s ministry volunteers for birth through 5th grade. • Report to the Lead Pastor about events, praises, and prayer requests for the children’s ministry. • Maintain the integrity of the children’s Bible teaching time by ensuring the instruction is consistent with the doctrinal convictions of the church. 
 • Identify and execute ministry and local missions opportunities for children to participate in. 

 • In consultation with senior church leadership, develop an annual budget for the children’s ministry and operate within the budget. Other Duties - • Organize and lead special events such as church lunches, picnics, other events that foster fellowship, connection, and involvement. • Attend weekly staff meetings with Alliance Fellowship Ministry Team. • At least 2 connections with students per week outside of Sunday services and Wednesday night youth ministry. • At least 2 connections with volunteer leaders, or potential leaders per week outside of Sunday services and Wednesday night youth ministry. • Any other duties as assigned by lead pastor.
