aXcess: Youth Pastor and Community Developer in the Middle East

This position is for a male pastor to the community that can work with the Alliance Academy and the pastor of the local church to reach and disciple families from the school and community, as well as church families. As a primary contact with the church, this person should speak Arabic. The worker would not be on the church staff but would collaborate with the pastor and church staff to plan and carry out community outreach. They would also work with the school director to connect the school to the community.

aXcess: Community Development and Church Planting in the Middle East

Worker will, by day, be involved in our non-government organization (NGO), helping provide community development and poverty alleviation to the low income and high-risk program participants. There is opportunity in our women’s wellness program, either teaching fitness classes or leading educational and group therapy talk times. Afternoons and evenings will involve teaching, leading, and training students and employees in our after-school programs, including 120 high school and university students. English, leadership development, and values are taught, learned through activities, and developed in community and relationships. At night, there are opportunities to disciple new believers and participate in the underground church movement.   

aXcess: Church Planting in a Vibrant and Historic Country in the Middle East

New workers will be based in the Alliance International Church in the central city of the state and will partner with other local Alliance churches to plan and pioneer new outreach efforts in communities in and around the area. Past outreach efforts in the area include English programs, youth and children’s events, and relief and development. Through these efforts, workers have successfully built meaningful connections with the broader community and established the international church as a uniquely welcoming place for people from all backgrounds. aXcess: Church Planting Among Refugees in Greece

This is a new, pioneering work among refugees in Greece. The vision is to see churches being planted among immigrants and refugees who have come to Greece from the Middle East and North Africa. This ministry involves a lot of direct evangelism through the proclamation of the Word and service to the refugees. Ideally, this will be a joint project between aXcess and CAMA, with the expectation that aXcess workers will focus on direct evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

aXcess: Ministry Among Immigrants and Refugees in Italy

Italy continues to receive wave after wave of immigrants and refugees, as it is one of the main entry points to the European Union. The successful applicant(s) will work with a new team to engage immigrants and refugees in Italy with the gospel in word and deed. The primary ministry focus will be on people who practice the majority religion of their home countries in North and West Africa and the Middle East.

aXcess: Church Planting and Disciplemaking in Kosovo

Today, many young people in Kosovo are disillusioned with the majority religion and are looking to the West to find hope for the future. We are looking for colleagues who will creatively use their skills and experience, both traditional and holistic, to engage this young population, share Christ, and develop communities of faith. If you enjoy building relationships over many cups of coffee and collaborating with a small, but vibrant, national church network to transform communities, then Kosovo may be a good fit for you. This position will be messy, stretching, challenging, and life changing. An adventurous, flexible, go-with-the-flow attitude is a must.

aXcess: Church Planting and Disciplemaking in the Middle East

From a strategic Middle Eastern city, there is enormous potential to reach countries that make daily headlines with the gospel. The successful applicant(s) will work with an existing team to teach English at an NGO-based community center that touches hundreds of families. There are many opportunities through the center and the established international church to create house church networks. The team has a vision to launch a new ministry in another strategic urban area with a high level of need. The applicant(s) will have the opportunity to help launch this new project by either joining it, or by supporting the existing work.
