Make Gospel Impact through the Arts

Project Name: The Arboretum – Berlin Arts and Ministry Development

CHALLENGE GOAL: $110,722

Location: Berlin, Germany

Many painters, musicians, writers, and other artists in post-Christian Berlin are desperately searching for a place to belong and feel valued—completely unaware of God’s love for them. In a country where only 2 percent of people are evangelical, they are surrounded by few torchbearers of God’s light and hope. The art they produce reflects the bleak future they feel.

Using the power of art to evoke emotion and stir the spirit, Alliance workers are making a gospel impact on
desperate people through art exhibits, public readings, small concerts, and other arts-based outreach events.
By giving to this project, you will develop high-tech spaces for Christian artists to create, rehearse, collaborate, share their work, and most importantly, engage with the public on faith-based topics.

Now is the time to expand arts outreach among isolated, marginalized, and spiritually hungry people in one of Europe’s most important cultural centers.
