To her caretakers, Mya* always seemed downhearted and irritated and was difficult to teach. Then, one day, she confided in one of her caretakers and shared that she had been beaten and abandoned by her mother before arriving at the youth center. Sadly, many other children in this war-torn country could tell similar stories.

Children like Mya need you to provide food, clothing, educational materials, and other resources so they can heal from extreme trauma, advance in their studies, and escape a vicious cycle of poverty and exploitation. By offering devotionals, worship sessions, and Bible studies, the youth centers you sustain through this project also play a vital role in each child’s spiritual development.
