Joseph* fled North Africa after his family threatened his life for expressing an interest in Christianity. When he arrived in Spain, he was penniless, lonely, and struggling for hope. Many other refugees in this region are like him. They need God’s light to guide their steps, but their community has few gospel witnesses.
Through this project, an abandoned retail space in Spain will be renovated into a youth center to house mentoring, tutoring, and fitness programs for refugee youth like Joseph, seeking security, acceptance, and a way out of systemic poverty.
