When leaders of this project began to prepare the land for a livelihood assistance program in 2019, they hired members of the local community to help with manual labor. They found that many of these people hadn’t finished high school and worked seasonal jobs on other farms. Their families ate just once a day.
Your giving keeps this project staffed and secure so needy families can continue to receive vocational training in agriculture, educational assistance, and opportunities to participate in Bible discussion groups in a safe environment. Many of the people you serve through this project are former and current female inmates seeking personal growth, compassion, financial stability, and better opportunities for themselves and their children.
