Equip Exploited Women with Job Skills

Project Name: CAMA – Bengali Women Training Program

CHALLENGE GOAL: $16,774

Location: Bangladesh

Rina* left a life of prostitution after learning sewing skills through a vocational training program run by Alliance workers and local partners. Many other young women in Bangladesh hunger for the same opportunity and for acceptance, respect, and kindness they have never known.

When you give to this training program, young Bengali women—many of them former prostitutes and refugees—will learn vocational sewing skills that will help them secure jobs in Bangladesh’s thriving textile industry. Serving over 120 women per year, the program also creates an entry point for these women to study God’s Word, heal from trauma, and become followers of Jesus.

Provide a path for exploited and hurting Bengali women to gain employable skills and find purpose, freedom, and self-worth in Jesus.
