Valley View Chapel, Long Valley, NJ The Director of Student Ministries is responsible for all aspects of facilitating the spiritual growth and development of students (grades 6-8 middle school / 9-12 high school), helping students find and follow Jesus together. This includes leadership of weekly programs and periodic special events (service projects, short term mission trips, etc.). Responsibilities Leadership Development: • Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers in the creation and operation of a student ministry, including weekly services and routine special events. • Assist in the development of an annual budget for high school student ministries and manage spending to budget. Student Development: • Plan and execute biblically accurate, culturally relevant, and high-energy gatherings for high school students. • Create and manage a high school and junior high student ministry calendar that will drive all the activities and teaching of the ministry. • Develop and disciple student leaders. Parent Engagement: • Build partnerships with parents through consistent communication in order to work together with them in the spiritual development of students.
