Apalachin Alliance Church is located in the Greater Binghamton area of upstate New York. We are seeking a Spirit filled pastor who desires to serve in a bi-vocational capacity. Currently, our typical weekly attendance is 15-20 people of all ages. We desire to reach the lost for Christ and disciple new believers to follow Him. We believe, that while we are small in number, God has provided for this congregation, and has a purpose for our church to fulfill. We believe that God has sent us on mission to our community and region to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are in search of a Spirit filled leader to help the church envision its next season of ministry and growth. The pastor’s primary roles will be to provide biblical preaching, small group leadership, serve as chairman of the governing board, and provide pastoral care. It is important that the pastor support and promote the Apalachin Alliance Church mission statement – “to belong, grow, and make a difference.” We are seeking a pastor with a heart for Christ, who will develop meaningful relationships within the congregation, and, desire to serve the people of our community. Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministry or a ministry-related field. A master’s degree from an accredited seminary is preferred. Previous experience as a pastor is highly desired. Candidates licensed with The Alliance are preferred. However, any candidate must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements of The Alliance. A parsonage is provided. Interested applicants should send their resume to: Rev. David B.
