Europe/ Middle East

AboutFamilyRegions › Europe/Middle East

In Western Europe you can stand on a city street surrounded by high-rise apartments inhabited by tens of thousands of people, most of whom are lost. Since access to them is nearly impossible, it can be overwhelming. In spite of this challenge, Alliance workers strive to bring the message of hope to this post-Christian, postmodern population.

In post-Communist Eastern Europe and Russia, years of conflict, financial burdens, and a spiritual vacuum have left many people unwilling to trust others. Today, many are sensing a freedom they have never before experienced due to the Good News of Jesus. Across the aptly named Fertile Crescent, the Spirit of God is moving. Innovative, cutting-edge approaches to ministry are lead by the Spirit of God, resulting in flourishing relationships.

Alliance national churches now number more than 150 across this vast, incredibly diverse region, with an inclusive membership of nearly 20,000. Fruit is slow in coming, but with perseverance, we are seeing encouraging results.
