As missions leaders in Alliance churches, we all agree that our international workers (IWs) carry the priceless treasure of gospel access to a lost and broken world. They are too important to God’s plan for us to allow them to go it alone or do anything less than provide them with our full support. This means understanding and caring for IWs’ emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
Yet how can we do this practically? And what role do we and our churches play in bearing our workers’ burdens as they seek to take the best news ever to the nations? Hence our theme for 2021…
Our International Workers…Too Valuable to Lose
The Apostle Paul wrote, “…Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ…” (Galatians 6:2).
January 10–14, 2021, Colorado Springs, Colorado
How will the coronavirus affect Converge?
While the event isn’t until January 2021, the planning team is working with the hotel to ensure that proper cleaning and current health security measures will be in place.
What if Converge must be cancelled?
If this happens, all registration fees will be fully reimbursed.
Who is Invited?
While Converge is designed for any pastor, missions leader, or outreach coordinator from an Alliance church with an attendance of 200 or more, all churches are welcome.
What to Expect
Everywhere we look we see desperate people who need to hear about Jesus—in our cities and around the world. As a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 family, The Alliance is passionate about bringing the gospel to those who have little to no opportunity to hear this good news. Every Alliance church plays a vital role in making this happen.
This year our theme is
Our International Workers… Too Valuable to Lose. We will focus on member care—building your relational partnership that includes caring and sharing in the good and hard times, supporting in IW prayer, assisting financially, and investing in your IWs’ total well-being. Throughout this three-day conference, you will enjoy thought-provoking seminars led by insightful speakers, table discussions, breakout sessions with your peers, prayer, Communion, and fellowship. You will also have an afternoon to explore some of the beautiful attractions in the Colorado Springs area as well as opportunities to meet with National Office staff who are available to answer your questions on a variety of topics. Most importantly, you will have the chance to connect with other church missions leaders to share local and global outreach challenges, strategies, and success stories. You will be encouraged to learn how God is working through Alliance churches just like yours and how you can engage more.
Join us at Converge 2021, where you will be inspired, refreshed, and equipped for a renewed calling to be the leader God has positioned you to be—to help your church engage to a much greater degree with Alliance missions, especially in the vital area of caring for our IWs.
EARLY BIRD registration starts at $325/pp and ends 10/31/20. (This includes the conference, lodging, Wi-Fi, breakfast, lunch, and the COS airport shuttle). Registration closes 12/7/20 (Please note that registration ends earlier this year).Register Schedule

In Their Own Words
Excellent week. Engaging, energetic, and uplifting. It provided application and interaction with others. I loved being able to network with others that are dedicated to missions.
This was my first time to attend, and it far surpassed my expectations.
Excellent conference; am already looking forward to next year—and am planning on bringing others from our church to attend as well!
Can’t tell you enough how much we got out of Converge and how excited we are to implement the ideas in our church. See you next year.
